Their son, Kyle, had died after a night of drinking with his fraternity brothers at the University of Florida...

Arnett, 21, fell while trying to get into his room at Alpha Tau Omega fraternity on Dec. 19, 2004 at about 4 a.m. Police said Arnett had gone to Gator City, a local club, before returning to the fraternity that morning. Toxicology tests showed he had a blood-alcohol level of 0.18, more than twice limit for driving. Arnett suffered blunt trauma head injuries, which were listed as the probable cause of death. He fell about 15 feet onto concrete steps...

Five student deaths have been linked to drinking at the University of Florida since October 2003:

Hundreds of hours of community service are done by my fraternity as well as the other Greek organizations on campus. All houses have their own community service events and raise thousands of dollars for the community every year...

When deputies arrived, they found minors on a parking lot near the fraternity house who had consumed alcohol. ....
